Everyone living here signs these before move-in. No surprises, this is exactly what we hold each other to.
House Rules — Maple House
These are the rules you agree to follow as a resident. They exist to keep this house safe, supportive, and focused on recovery.
Sobriety
- Zero tolerance — immediate discharge on use.
- Random drug and alcohol testing is required.
- Random testing with no set schedule.
Curfew
- Weekday curfew: 11:00 PM.
- Weekend curfew: 12:00 AM.
- Work-related exceptions are allowed with advance notice to the house manager.
Visitors
- Visitors are not permitted inside the house.
- Overnight guests are not permitted.
Recovery Meetings
- No required recovery meetings.
Chores & Cleanliness
- Chores are assigned automatically through the RecoveryOS app. Check the app each week to see your assignments.
- Keep your personal space clean and tidy.
- Clean up after yourself in common areas (kitchen, bathroom, living room).
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Keep TV, music, and conversations at a respectful volume during quiet hours.
Property Rules
- Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only.
- Pets are not permitted at this house.
- Vehicles are allowed with proof of valid registration and insurance.
Consequences for Violations
- First violation: Verbal warning documented in your file.
- Second violation: Written warning with a behavior agreement.
- Third violation: Meeting with house manager. Possible loss of privileges.
Serious violations (substance use, violence, weapons, or sexual misconduct) result in immediate discharge regardless of prior warnings.
